The Owl House gave us almost everything that it could’ve in its limited three episode final season — and also gave us a gut-punch in the finale that is going to stick with us for some time. After a large magic blast that erases a large amount of the fungus, Belos raises The Titan’s left hand in an attempt to grab the trio. Luz sends them into the sky, where they get an amazing view (from almost outer space) of the entirety of the Isles, among other things. With an awesome reference to episode four of the series, they go flying toward the heart of the Boiling Isles to deft Belos once and for all. We then come to Raine, trapped in the castle by the fungus but able to keep their head safe by whistling (Eda’s Requiem call-back, yay!!). With their glasses on the ground, they don’t notice that it’s Eda coming to rescue them, but once they do, they are very happy to see her.

Later on, it was taken down after 2Pac’s estate threatened legal action for using an AI imitation of the late rapper without consent. The third season consists of three 44-minute specials, the first and second episodes have already been released and are available to stream on Disney+ in the United States. On July 19, 2019, Terrace announced that TJ Hill composed the series' score.[31] On January 10, 2020, Hill said that the score features "interesting and experimental sounds that [he] had a ton of fun cooking up".[32] In the second season, Gravity Falls and Star vs. the Forces of Evil composer Brad Breeck took over as composer. Two torches then light up, presenting him to the shrine room from Titan Trapper Island where he is among the remains of many deceased Titans. An apparition of Bill appears behind him, startling King, and he demands to know what Bill is doing.

In the series' final scene, when Luz turns 18, everybody throws a "King-ceañera" party for her, to make up for her using her previous three birthdays to help rebuild the Boiling Isles. She also learns that, while her original glyph magic died with the Titan, the growing King has developed new glyphs for her to learn. In season two, Amity is put upon by Odalia and Alador when they expel her friends from Hexside for being a "bad influence" on her. But when they endager Luz when she tries to get her and her friends back into school, she stands up to Odalia and gets them back into Hexside.[8] She acknowledges that Luz's arrival changed her for the better, and redyes her hair lilac because Odalia forced her to have her hair dyed green to match with her siblings. The epilogue starts immediately after Belos dies, and The Titan’s magic leaves Luz’s body, with the main trio lying together on the grass, Luz in between them.

Well, apparently, calling him Dad isn’t entirely accurate, as they quote King by saying, “I am king and queen, best of both things! ” But they also say, “but Dad works fine,” so this is how I will be addressing them. It is revealed that The Collector, and Belos, who, unbeknownst to The Collector, is possessing Raine, are watching this reunion, and The Collector is upset about it, as Belos told him it would work. Belos asks The Collector why they don’t just take them out, to which they respond that they want to be friends with the main trio. Through this conversation, The Collector reveals they can’t hurt King anyway since he’s a Titan, and Titan magic is the only magic that can negate The Collector’s own. It’s this that tells Belos what he should do next, and, after distracting The Collector with the idea of playing with the trio in person, he leaves for the castle and the heart of The Titan.

The pacing of the fight picks up again when they arrive, Luz using her new magic to get right up to Belos and start tearing him from the heart. Meanwhile, the other three use their various magical abilities to stop the fungus from reaching them, as well as Luz. However, (with much better pacing than words can do justice) with glowing yellow eyes, and, at last, finding the words for her final battle speech, Luz rips Belos from The Titan’s heart, ending the final battle, but not Belos, not yet.
As the Collector is intrigued by this outlook, suddenly, they hear a rumbling sound that resembles breathing. The Titan's eye lights up blue, and they realize that it's Belos. There’s even a time skip epilogue that indulges a lot of fun character moments. But it’s not just pure fan service (even though, some of it kinda is). Showing us that these characters still mean something to each other after time has passed really resonates. This isn’t a story where the found family dissolves after the adventure or bittersweetly grows apart; these bonds are made to last and last they will.

While Luz and Eda quickly become defensive, the Collector innocently replies he is only having fun; King pleads the Collector to see his games are dangerous, but the Collector states "toys break all the time" and he can still fix them. It dawns on Luz that the Collector does not grasp the concept of death, but she has little time to process before the Collector whisks them all away to play his games. She quickly breaks out by turning into her harpy form and flies outside. Eda remarks this will not stop her from saving her family, when at that moment, Lilith and Gwendolyn reveal themselves from the shadows. Relieved, Eda asks for their help to find King; however, the two send Coven Scouts to surround Eda and tell her that she will be kept locked away for how dangerous she is. Horrified, Eda asks why they're doing this; just then, Dell emerges from the balcony, his right eye bleeding and injured as he asks Eda why she would hurt him after he forgave her, which terrifies Eda.

Not to mention the intensifying movement to ban books, including those that even hint at LGBTQ subject matter. Movie,’ the elusive Peach has more personality than ever — and wins over a gamer who’d avoided the character all her life. Terrace is the fourth woman to create a series for Disney Television Animation, after Pepper Ann (created by Sue Rose), Doc McStuffins (created by Chris Nee), and Star vs. the Forces of Evil (created by Daron Nefcy). Continuing after the end of the previous episode, the Collector snaps his fingers and summons light tethers to capture the group. The Owl House finale will be available to stream on Disney Plus on April 9.

Her hair resembles a hand clinging onto her head, and she wears a jacket that covers her mouth; a glimpse of her mouth is shown in "Clouds on the Horizon", showing she has two teeth. She rarely appears in season one, often contacting members of the Emperor's Coven. This is a list of characters featured in the Disney Channel animated series The Owl House, created by Dana Terrace.
The series also won an award for Children's & Youth Programming at the 2021 Peabody Awards. My main issue with the beginning of the finale has nothing to do with the finale itself. Since most of the trailer is the first few minutes of the episode, along with the fact that, as the audience, we know that Luz, Eda, and King are asleep, it seems to go very quickly.
There’s the show about a powerful, exiled, cursed witch who’s being hunted by her sister and the “State,” the magic-controlling government whose leader wants to use her for something nefarious. And there’s the show about an insecure, supposedly-weird girl who, through the power of her over-wrought, stubborn determination, is able to alter the student dynamics and strict rules and decorum of a magic school beholden to that government’s ideals. King has to narrate the entire backstory of the Boiling Isles at the beginning of “Young Blood, Old Souls,” to fill us in, which feels like it comes way too late in the season and which really raises more questions than it answers. It also inadvertently exposes the overall flaws of a show that, at least, presents an enjoyable, tense, and intriguing finale.
Hunter leaves with Willow, and they travel down a hill to where (to everyone’s sadness) where Flapjack’s grave stands. The pair fly over Bonesborough, where we see various characters around town going about their day, others working on the rebuilding. She’s planning, specifically, a museum section of the library, where Hooty is the curator. Amity arrives in an abomination ship and hands Lilith a new book.
The three then laugh together, and relax having managed to do alright through everything. And that just makes Luz’s eventual comeback even more satisfying. It feels earned, especially with the heart-to-heart she has in the “Space In Between” with the original Titan himself. Luz confesses one last anxiety — that she’s no better than Belos in her desire to protect her friends. It’s the last metaphorical hurdle she needs to vault over, one last insecurity to reflect upon, before she can pick herself up again and fight.
” There are SO MANY things in this video that I couldn’t notice, either because of my blindness directly or because the audio description doesn’t/or couldn’t mention it due to time constraints. It truly is amazing how much they managed to fit into the epilogue. I do wish there could have been more voice acting and more time spent on the ending, but, as with most issues with the third season, this is not the fault of the creators but of Disney cutting the time the show had. With all that in mind, I quite enjoyed the finale and thought it was wonderful.
